Idabel Museum Society, Inc. seeks to fill two (2) full-time, entry level or early-career positions at the Museum of the Red River, Idabel, Oklahoma
The Collections and Exhibitions Assistant will work with curatorial staff to provide general oversight and management of the Museum’s material culture and library resources. Specific duties will include maintenance of work and storage facilities, collections and exhibition research, and record keeping. S/He will also assist with the development, installation, and de-installation of exhibits, reporting to the Keeper/Curator of Collections.
The Learning Center Coordinator, reporting to the Museum’s Head of Programs will work with other programs staff to create and implement new Museum-based educational opportunities with emphasis on those offered in the onsite Holland and Sallie Webb Family Learning Center. S/He will also maintain the facility, including its equipment and related resources, while seeing to its cleanliness and order, foster public use.
